I prefer e-transfers for simplicity, but payment can also be made through PayPal, VISA, MasterCard or even cash if you’re local. A 20% deposit is required to start work, with 80% due prior to shipping.
Shipping rates vary based on both location and size, but I’ve included some estimates below.
All my portraits are shipped well-protected from physial and water damage, using tracked secure shipping. If there is any issue receiving your parcel in excellent condition I will either repair the piece free of charge, or provide a redo or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

I can definitely put multiple pets in one portrait!
If you can find a photo with all the pets together to use as a primary reference, there is no extra charge, pricing is just based on size. But if they’re all in different photos and need to be arranged into one piece then I charge a 10% composition fee. Adjusting the lighting to make different photos look natural together can be a real challenge, so one photo is better if possible.
Pet portraits are priced by size, and you can see a full list of available sizes here on my pricing page.
If you need me to put together multiple photos to create the composition (different pets from different photos, or a specific background based on a photo) then I would also charge a 20% image editing fee.
I’ve listed common sizes for simplicity, but any format can be accommodated if I can find the materials. Just let me know what you’d like and I’ll give you a quote. I can also work on a larger scale on request, but shipping and handling rates may change outside the listed estimates.
Like good pizza, good art takes time. Pieces within the sizes listed can be complete and ready to ship within three weeks, but please note that oils can take over a week to dry and even a rush order will require drying time.
Once you approve the final work, payment is due and I’ll ship right away through the carrier we’ve agreed on.
I can prioritize your piece, but a 20% rush charge will apply if you require work to be shipped or delivered in less than 3 weeks. If you need the piece complete by a certain date please let me know as soon as possible and we can discuss what options are available.
Yes, all original artwork is signed on the front in the lower right-hand corner. The painting date can also be added to the reverse upon request, as well as the names of pets or really any other inscription you’d like.
n short, no. My specialty is painting and I leave framing to the framing experts. Dedicated framing galleries can help you choose a frame that fits both the artwork and your home, and will have many samples on-hand you can choose from. In addition, doing the framing after delivery will save significantly on shipping costs due to the reduced weight.
My oils dry to a semigloss finish. On request, I can also glaze the piece for a higher shine. For display, oil portraits do not require glass, and the thick gallery-wrap canvases I use hold their own on a wall even without a frame so they’re ready to display as soon as your receive them.
